VOLUNTEER
Volunteers have helped build Chewstick’s spaces, welcome its audiences and carry the work through difficult chapters. Bring your time and skills to the programmes happening today.
Help people feel at home and support the setup and flow of a gathering.
Support community painting, preparation and the work around a shared creative experience.
Share your experience in sound, photography, organising, communications, administration or other practical skills. The work behind an event matters as much as what happens on stage.
Start a conversation about where you could fit.
Include your interests, relevant skills, availability and the programme you would like to support. The team can then discuss current opportunities with you.
Our board-approved Protection of Vulnerable Persons Policy requires criminal background checks through the Bermuda Police Service before contact with vulnerable persons. Relevant volunteers must understand reporting duties, complete annual safeguarding training and renew their Code of Conduct consent.
The policy also requires supervision and prompt reporting of known or suspected abuse or neglect. Talk with the team about the preparation and responsibilities for the role you are considering.
Read the safeguarding requirementsChewstick has a lot going on and we are looking to our loyal members, friends, fans and supporters for help!
Chewstick would not be able to survive without the support and time of our volunteers and we are grateful for any help you may be able to provide. If your interested in volunteering for the Chewstick Foundation simply fill out the form below and someone will be in touch with you shortly.
