Raspberry Pi Day 3.141592653 Learn. Donate. Support.
Did you know that March 14th is International Pi Day?!!
This useful mathematical constant has it’s own day and John Gill will be helping us to join a bunch of Raspberry Pi Day celebrations, from Hawaii to New York City and beyond!
Come through to Chewstick at 81 Front Street for a last chance to experience and support the renovation campaign, make a donation, play some games and eat some actual pies.
You’ll have the chance to experience a $30 computer (Raspberry Pi) that runs off a phone charger. We’ll be making videos of people performing, playing games etc, so bring your camera, SD card, instruments to contribute your content as we build a Raspberry Pi media centre.
The day will begin with an explanation of the day’s significance and walk through the significant digits of Pi 3.141592653. At 9:26 we will show a video from the Raspberry micro computer and continue with some hands-on demonstration on Raspberry Pi micro-computers XBMC.
