KiteFest Kite Coloring Contest
It’s time for Bermuda to get creative with a fun coloring competition at Bermuda’s Good Friday KiteFest! Everyone is encouraged to get out their pencils, crayons and brushes and create an original design of the iconic Bermuda Kite.
This new element of the three decades old tradition emphasizes the unique characteristics of the Bermuda Kite and Easter traditions in our community. The coloring sheet encourages people to explore their creativity and use your imagination in the kite’s design for a chance to win!
There are five categories for the coloring contest, Under 6, 6-9, 10-12, 13-17, and 18+ for all the older kids that want to get involved. There’s a maximum of 3 submissions each with a fantastic prize package for first place in each category. There will also be crayons and sheets available to color at KiteFest if you have trouble printing.
Here’s how to get involved:
Print out the PDF file here or come to the beach and color right on the sand. Color in the picture with whatever coloring tools you like (physically or digitally). Feel free to color outside the lines – originality and imagination is encouraged! Submit your entry at the Admin Tent at Bermuda’s Good Friday KiteFest, April 18th on Horseshoe Bay by 2pm.
Good luck and have fun, we’re excited to see what you come up with!
