Chewstick’s official high school after-school program dedicated to helping youth to find their voice and shout their story! Whether they are a rapper a singer or a poet, it doesn’t matter if they are into writing, acting or performing – this is the vibe.

TWIGS takes participants on a journey of expression introducing them to a variety of methods of storytelling before tasking them with three projects to be worked on over that term. Each project is tailored to their unique skillset and designed to give them the opportunity to really dig in and push their creativity to the next level. Field-trips, recording studio work, industry experts and working artists help to give participants a deeper understanding of the arts and what is possible with the tools they already have.

TWIGS is currently operating exclusively at The Berkeley Institute, we are still in our pilot phase and plan to expand into both Cedarbridge Academy and the private schools in the future. TWIGS is open to all Berkeley Institute Students and takes place weekly for more information give us a shout.
